Applique Projects

Below are a few patterns I found this morning that include appliqueing. Applique is a great way to create what you want when what you want may not be available any other way. If you aren't familiar with applique, this simply means that you cut shapes out of a fabric and sew it onto another piece of fabric. It may be a simple embellishment as in the 1st and 3rd pictures or may be part of creating an entire item as the quilted wall hanging in the middle picture below.
