Another Idea for Rag Quilt Patterns

Create matching pillows or table/mantle runners from left-over fabrics to match your rag quilts. For pillows, select a 4 square section as your pattern to create the pillow top and back. Stuff with your favorite stuffing. For runners, select 2 or 3 rows as your pattern. Add or omit squares as needed for the size you want to create.

Another Idea for Stitcheries

Many stitcheries wind up in a frame or as a pillow top, but you can also make quilt tops from them. Improvise size differences by either cutting all canvas pieces to the largest size from your pattern selection or add fabric remnants to the smaller stitcheries to make up the size difference.
