Shamrock Patterns

It's two weeks until St. Patrick's Day. That's plenty of time to whip up a few shamrocks for the occasion. It's also a fun way to add a splash of Irish tradition all year around. After all, we can all use a wee bit o' luck associated with the shamrock, right? The three-leaf shamrock was used by St. Patrick to illustrate the Holy Trinity of the Celtic religion as he introduced Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century. The first St. Patrick's Day celebration in America was held in Boston in 1737. Visit www.patternmart.com for more shamrock and Irish patterns.
