Silk Tie Dyed Easter Eggs

I thought this was a very creative spin on dying Easter Eggs, so my daughter and I gave it a try. You can read the directions and watch the video on Martha Stewards website here.

We stopped at Goodwill and picked up some silk ties. Be sure they are 100% silk, anything else won't work. The process is very easy and the results are truly unique and stunning!

My daughter's eyes just lit up every time we unwrapped one of the eggs. It is amazing how the design on the tie will imprint itself onto the egg.
